Source hierarchy
Primary statistical agencies, regulators, scientific institutions and direct observations come first for measurable facts. Publisher reporting supplies event discovery and context. Social platforms supply attention signals, not representative public opinion.
Neutrality is a method
No outlet is perfectly neutral. We preserve the original source, distinguish a claim from a measurement, group independent reporting, and show unresolved conflicts. The interface does not convert partisan balance into factual equivalence.
Translation
English output is only labeled translated when a translation service returns a successful translation. Otherwise, the system keeps an English-language source or withholds the item. Original language, title, URL and publication time remain part of the receipt where available.
Forecast discipline
Every public probability needs a resolvable question, deadline, evidence timestamp, model version and resolution rule. Unresolved forecasts do not count as proven accuracy. Misses remain in the archive.
Rights boundary
A connector can appear in research or architecture documentation without being cleared for public redistribution. Every source receives a source-by-source rights review, and prototype feeds are not represented as connected until their data reaches a tested product surface.
Challenge the record
Use the corrections desk for a specific factual, source, timestamp, geography or methodology error. A disagreement with a transparent forecast is not automatically a correction; a broken input or rule is.
